Rob Zombie Stepping Down From Directing For A Long Time

Lets face it, Rob Zombie does not have the best directing career. In fact, he sucks (except for Devils Reject). His first film House of 1,000 Corpses gained a cult following but where he really shined was The Devils Rejects in 2005. It was just an old fashioned exploitation road trip film that was fun and brutal at the same time. Then he did Halloween and well, the first half of the movie is okay. Then the dreaded Halloween II which has more plot holes and dumb ass dialogue then the first.
Now with The Lords of Salem (Review here) Rob has finally manned up and said "You know, I am not very good at this directing stuff" well he didn't say that but that's what were all thinking.
In a recent interview with Phoenix NewTimes Rob Zombie said this.

"No. I'm not really thinking of doing anything . . . Lords of Salem is my last sort of horror-genre related film for a really long time."- Rob Zombie
Thank god now lets all exhale and be relieved that we don't have to suffer through another horror movie where Sheri Moon Zombie is the lead or has white horse or plays a stripper mom.
